The Founder

Alfonso.

Alfonso developed an eye for cut, drape, and proportion earlier than most people find a career. While his peers were still figuring out what they wanted to do with themselves, he was already drawing silhouettes, studying the great houses, and — through word of mouth alone — designing pieces for some of the most recognizable names in the city: athletes, entertainers, executives, and the occasional groom who wanted to out-dress his own wedding.

Alfonso's Atelier is the formal home for that work: a small, uncompromising house built around a single conviction — that bespoke clothing should fit the person wearing it, disappear into them, and outlast whatever's in fashion that season.

Every commission is designed, measured, and fitted by Alfonso personally. The construction is entrusted to a dedicated workshop of master tailors — hand-selected for their craft, their discretion, and a shared refusal to cut corners. The vision is Alfonso's. The stitches belong to people who have been making exceptional clothing their entire lives. What leaves the studio carries only one name on the label — yours.

Our Philosophy

Quiet luxury.
Unquiet standards.

We believe the best clothing is the kind no one quite notices — until they do. No logos. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just cloth, canvas, and craft.

The fabrics come from the same mills supplying the world's great houses — Loro Piana, Holland & Sherry, Scabal, Vitale Barberis Canonico. The canvas is full-floating, horsehair where it matters, hand-padded into the chest and lapels so the jacket moves with you.

A suit typically takes 60 to 80 hours to build. A couture piece, considerably more. We believe you'll feel the difference before you see it — and you'll see it forever.

The Commission

From conversation
to final fitting.

Every commission follows the same unhurried rhythm. Expect between three and four fittings, and eight to twelve weeks from first measurement to final delivery.

01

Consultation

An unhurried conversation. We discuss occasion, wardrobe, proportions, and intent. Fabric books are opened. Sketches are drafted.

02

Measurement

Thirty-two measurements taken personally by Alfonso. A pattern is drafted to your specifications and kept on file in perpetuity, so every future commission begins from a record of you.

03

Fittings

A basted fitting, a forward fitting, and a final fitting. Every seam is refined until the garment is indistinguishable from the body.

04

Delivery

Your finished piece is pressed, packaged, and presented in the studio. Each garment includes lifetime alteration privileges.

Made by Hand

The hidden half
of a fine suit.

Ninety percent of what makes a bespoke suit a bespoke suit lives where you cannot see it: the floating canvas inside the chest, the hand-padded lapels, the silk-bound buttonholes, the pick-stitched edges, the surgeon's cuffs with real working buttons.

We make these choices because they produce a garment that drapes, breathes, and ages the way great clothing is supposed to. A suit from this house, cared for properly, will outlast the decade it was made in.
